How GoTrack keeps your stores' data safe

What stays in the store, what reaches the cloud, who can see it and how devices are kept up to date. Plain facts for your security and legal teams; no certifications are claimed here.

GoBot, the GoTrack robot, in a store

How does GoTrack protect data?

By keeping images in the store and sending only product events. Camera images are analysed on the store device and not stored by default. In the cloud, each company's data is kept separate, access goes through user accounts with team roles, and changes are recorded in an activity log.

What protects your data

Images stay in the store

Camera images are analysed in the store device's memory and discarded; video never reaches the cloud.

Companies kept apart

Each company's stores, products and reports are separated; users see only the companies they belong to.

Roles and an activity log

Team members get roles, and changes in the panel are recorded in an activity log.

Signed webhooks

Events sent to your systems are signed with HMAC-SHA256, so you can verify they came from GoTrack.

Safe remote updates

New versions are applied at a quiet moment and roll back on their own if they do not work.

Nothing lost offline

Without internet, events wait on the store device and are sent later with their real times.

What this page does not claim

GoTrack does not claim security certifications on this page. For the hosting region and retention of cloud records, and for our security and data-processing documentation, ask GOTONOM in writing before you buy.

How camera analytics is classified under KVKK or GDPR, and which notices a store needs, is for the retailer to assess as data controller; the privacy page and this page can be used as input.

Questions

Does GoTrack record camera footage?

Not by default: each analysed frame is discarded. If debug recording is switched on, the files stay on the store device and are deleted after 30 days by default. The only image that reaches the product catalogue is one an authorised user deliberately adds as a product photo.

Can GoTrack send data to our ERP, loyalty or BI system?

Yes, through webhooks and exports. Each product interaction can be sent to your endpoint as a webhook signed with HMAC-SHA256, and every report can be exported as CSV or PDF. There is no ready-made ERP, POS, loyalty or CRM connector.

How are store devices updated?

Remotely. New versions reach store devices without a site visit, are applied at a quiet moment, and roll back on their own if the new version does not work.

Where is the data kept?

Camera images are processed on the store device and, by default, never leave the store. For the hosting region and retention of cloud records, ask GOTONOM in writing before purchase.
