Visitor counting, when you need it
GoTrack is built around products: what shoppers pick up, hold and put back. When a store also needs to know how many visitors came in, we set up visitor counting with the same cameras, anonymously and without face recognition.
Does GoTrack count visitors?
Yes, on request. Visitor counting is not part of the standard reports; it is set up per project for stores that need it. It counts people, it does not identify them: no face recognition, no biometric templates, no shopper followed from one visit to the next.

What we will ask you
- Which doors or areas you want counted, and at which hours.
- Whether a camera already sees them clearly; if not, an extra camera may be needed.
- What you want to compare the numbers with: product interaction, screens or other stores.
Questions
Does GoTrack count people?
On request, yes. GoTrack's standard reports are about products: what shoppers pick up, hold and put back. For stores that also need visitor numbers, GoTrack can count visitors with the same cameras, anonymously and without face recognition; it is set up per project.
Does GoTrack use face recognition?
No. There is no face recognition, no face template, no biometric matching, and no shopper is recognised across visits.
Does GoTrack work without processing personal data?
GoTrack does not store images, identify anyone or send personal data to the cloud, but it does process camera images in real time on the store device. How that is classified under KVKK or GDPR, and the notices it needs, is for the retailer's legal team to assess as data controller.
Does GoTrack work with our existing cameras?
Usually. IP cameras with RTSP, ONVIF cameras, HTTP streams and USB cameras are supported. The camera must see the shelf; if an existing camera does not, an extra camera may be needed.
