One set of shelf data, four teams that use it
The same product interaction data answers different questions for the people who decide what goes on the shelf, what goes on the screen and how stores run.

Who uses GoTrack's reports?
Merchandising, brand and marketing, store operations and retail leadership. Each team reads the same pickups, hold time and put-backs from its own angle: placement, content, store rhythm or the whole chain.
Merchandising and visual merchandising
Which products and colours earn the best spots?
- Which products draw hands, and which are never touched
- Which colours are picked up and which are put back
- Whether a new placement changed interest (placement testing)
- How the same product performs in different stores
Brand and marketing
Which content and campaigns move shoppers at the shelf?
- Which screen content goes with longer holds (content testing)
- How a launch or campaign changed interest (launches and campaigns)
- Product-level reports to share with brands and suppliers, as CSV or PDF
- Screens that present the product in hand (lift and learn)
Store operations
When are the shelves busiest, and is every store running?
- When interest peaks, by hour and shelf zone
- Which stores' devices and screens need attention: every device reports its health
- Screens and content for every store from one panel
- Visitor numbers where needed (on request)
Retail leadership
How do stores and ranges compare?
- One view of product interest across every store
- Which stores and ranges draw more interaction
- A privacy approach that is easy to explain: no face recognition, images processed in the store
- Data that flows into your own BI through webhooks and exports
Questions
Can GoTrack send data to our ERP, loyalty or BI system?
Yes, through webhooks and exports. Each product interaction can be sent to your endpoint as a webhook signed with HMAC-SHA256, and every report can be exported as CSV or PDF. There is no ready-made ERP, POS, loyalty or CRM connector.
Can GoTrack tell marketing which products are examined, and for how long?
Yes. It reports pickups per product and variant, average hold time, put-back rate, products compared together and never-touched products. It measures how long a product is held, not how long someone stands in front of it.
Does GoTrack work for chains with many branches?
Yes. Several stores and brands are managed from one panel, reports are split per store, and every store device's health is monitored remotely.
Can GoTrack show whether sales went up?
Not on its own. GoTrack measures what happens at the shelf — pickups, hold time and put-backs — and does not read POS data. To relate interest to sales, join GoTrack's CSV exports or webhook events with your own sales data.
