Use case · Presentation

Hold up a product. The screen presents it.

In a showroom, at a trade fair or in a pop-up, a sales associate or a visitor holds a product up to the camera and its content fills the screen. No scanning, no tapping, no searching through a tablet.

GoBot, the GoTrack robot, in a store

How does presentation mode work?

In presentation mode, GoTrack treats a product held up to the camera as a request to show it. The screen shows that product's content while it is held and returns to its playlist afterwards. It works in open spaces, without shelves or fixed product positions.

Where it works best

Showrooms

Every product in the range can be presented, without anyone searching for the right file.

Trade fairs and events

A stand that reacts to the products visitors pick up, and a record of which ones drew attention.

Sales teams

Associates present products naturally, just by picking them up.

What you need

  • A camera that sees the presentation area.
  • A screen of any size: no touchscreen required.
  • Your products added in the panel, with their images or video.
  • It works offline: useful on a fair floor with unreliable internet.

Questions

Can we manage the screens in all our stores from one place?

Yes. Every store's screens are paired, grouped and managed from one web panel — content, playlists, layouts and live status — and a screen that goes offline is flagged.

What happens if the store's internet goes down?

Recognition, screens and event recording carry on in the store. Screens play their stored content, and events wait on the device and are sent with their real times when the connection returns.

Do we need a data-science team to add new products?

No. Adding a product is a guided step in the panel, and product details can be imported from a product page on your website.

Can a product be presented by holding it up to the camera?

Yes. In presentation mode, a product held up to the camera puts its content on the screen while it is held. It suits showrooms, trade fairs, pop-ups and sales teams.
